Receive finished products inventory, inspect products to ensure that they are below the order quantity and the quality of packaging is acceptable, then put them away. Replenish products to the pick line based on system generated requests. Rotate inventory and ensure that it is issued on a first-in-first-out basis. Pick/Packers pick order pick list and process them, locating items from the gravity shelves, putting products to the cart and moving to the shipping area. They use hand held scanners to scan the products to ensure that all orders and inventory are accurately tracked. Pick/Packers then pack orders and prepare them to be shipped. They must inspect the items to ensure that they’re not damaged or missing any products, package them according to specifications and transport them carefully as needed to bring them to shipping facilities.
